How To Moisturize Your Skin Between Seasons

Changing Seasons Changing Skin

The temperature fluctuation between seasons make it difficult to keep your skin looking and feeling moisturized.
The moisture in the air changes drastically. You skin takes the hit at this time.

During this time what you choose to put on your skin is so important.  It's really important that you keep your skin hydrated.  You should chose skin care products that contain hyaluronic  acid.  This acid naturally occurs in your skin, but over time it is loss.  This hydrator holds  3 times its weight in water.  This will refresh your skin, helping it to stay moisturized.

Your skincare routine must include moisturizer

Avon has a cutting edge product with micro-bubbles. These bubbles delivers the anti-oxidant from raspberries to your skin.  The antioxidant protects your skin from environmental stressors, which aids your skin in retaining moisture. This along with the hyaluronic acid means hydrated skin.  After cleansing your skin morning or night, smooth on the Hydra Fusion Serum, then follow up with Hydra Fusion Gel Cream.  These products are non-greasy and non-oily, it is perfect for every single skin type.  After 72 hours you will have glowing skin.  This skin care duo will give you glowing skin between season and year round.

7 SKINCARE TIP FOR CHANGING SEASONS
BY DR PHILIPPA LOWE AND MAKE-UP ARTIST LISA VALENCIA

1. Check your skincare
As we move from Summer to Autumn we need to change our skincare routines a bit. During the colder months the humidity decreases and our use of central heating increases – both serve to dry out skin – so stick with your usual cleansing methods but remember to always avoid harsh, cleansing products which can dehydrate skin.
Use something gentle that doesn't strip your skin of its natural moisture, for example a mi-cellar cleansing water. The Simple one is formulated with glycerin, and triple purified water for instant hydration.
3. Don't forget SPF
Remember, you still need to protect your skin from the sun all year round (but making sure that you increase your SPF from April-September and when in hot climates) so find a good day moisturizing cream that has a minimum SPF15 and a good UVA protection. Use this as a base daily before applying your makeup and then reapply during the day if out and about for lengths of time.
4. Use antioxidant-rich creams at night
Before bed, gently cleanse your skin without stripping it and drying it further with harsh chemicals and then apply a rich night moisturizing repair cream. Look for creams full of antioxidants, as nighttime is the best time to repair the skin.
5. Simplify your makeup routine
You'll need to tailor your makeup routine accordingly as the seasons change and make sure you're kind to your skin to avoid flare-ups and sensitivity which can make it hard to get the beautiful finish you want from your makeup.
6. Boost your cream with oil
As skin can become a little dryer as the temperature cools, and central heating is turned on, after cleansing at night I add a few drops of a rich nourishing oil to my night cream for an extra boost.
7. Try illuminating moisturizers for day
Skin can look dull during the cooler months, so I rely on an illuminating moisturizer for a complexion that looks bright and dewy all year round.
8. Choose a cream blush
My top tip for brightening your look with makeup is to switch to a rosy-colored cream blush, it works wonders…

SKINCARE: HOW TO TREAT THE 4 TYPES OF WRINKLES

Skincare:  How to treat the 4 types of wrinkles Known by many names crow's feet, laugh lines creases, WRINKLES   Unless you have found a way to cheat father time wrinkles are in your future.  Wrinkles are a defining characteristic of  the natural aging process.  Superdrug surveyed 2000 women.  The beauty retailer found that by age 29 women are worried about aging.  There top concerns are wrinkles and sagging skin. Did you know that not all wrinkles are the same? As a matter of course most believed that there were two types of wrinkles. Dynamic Wrinkles -   Those lines that develop from facial movements, such as smiling. Static Wrinkles - Lines that form due to loss of elasticity and collagen, which causes the skin to eventually sag.   In 2006 researchers at the university hospital of Liege, Belgium published a study in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science. In this study they  identified four different categories of wrinkles. Th

THE # 1 THING TO CONSIDER IN FASHION

Underwear that Fits Correctly ARTICLE: https://www.notdressedaslamb.com/2017/03/the-number-1-trick-that-makes-all-your-clothes-look-good.html There is one very easy trick to making all your clothes look good (even when you’re wearing your own 34-year-old Duran Duran t-shirt – the oldest piece of clothing I own by a very, very long way). That number 1 trick? Get your underwear right. Oh, I can’t tell you how many years I spent wearing the wrong kind of underwear. The wrong size bra, ill-fitting knickers, the wrong  shape  bras… I’ve learnt a new trick just recently – but first, that t-shirt! My original Duran Duran Seven and the Ragged Tiger tour t-shirt is mine –  from 1983 . I cannot tell you how happy I am to be wearing my most treasured t-shirt and oldest item in my wardrobe, an item I thought until recently was most probably lost. I knew I hadn’t deliberately got rid of it, I just knew I’d put it somewhere ‘safe’ (that old chestnut!) and I’d been looking for it for years.

Vitamins Needed for Healthy Skin

Research suggests that some vitamins might play a key role in skin health. In many cases, these vitamins are most effective when a person applies them directly to the skin. Following a healthful, balanced diet that is free of vitamin and nutrient deficiencies may improve skin health by boosting overall health. Vitamin A Many multivitamins contain 100 percent or more of the recommended daily intake of  vitamin A . Other  good sources of vitamin A  include carrots, dark leafy green vegetables,  sweet potatoes , and  eggs . Retinoids, including retinol, tretinoin, isotretinoin, and similar chemicals, are manufactured forms of vitamin A. B-complex vitamins Several  B-complex vitamins  may improve skin health. The water-soluble vitamins are readily available as supplements, including as supplements that include all 12 B-complex vitamins. Research into the role of vitamin B-complex supplements is promising, though inconclusive. A  2018 study  found that vitam
