How To Transition Your Skin Care Routine From Summer to Fall

With temps starting to cool (hello, sweater weather), now is the perfect time to refresh your skincare routine for fall. Just as you would switch out your wardrobe essentials from season to season, you should also be updating your beauty routine to go along with it. Remember: Weather changes mean your skin will also have different needs.

Not sure where to start? No worries! Below, we share several ways to help you get your skin ready for those PSL (pumpkin spice latte) selfies.

Use a Hydrating Cleanser
Start quenching your skin at the very first step. A gentle, hydrating formula is ideal for fall weather. You want to look for a formula that delicately removes dirt but won't strip your skin of its natural oils. We recommend trying the Isa Knox LXNEW Clean Nourishing Cream Cleanser, a luxurious-feeling cream cleanser that will leave your complexion feeling refreshed and hydrated.

Opt for a Thicker Moisturizer
Light gel formulas are great for the summertime—especially if you have oily skin—but when searching for a fall moisturizer, you'll want to start looking into richer, creamier formulas that will last longer. We recommend trying The Face Shop Calendula Essential Moisture Cream, formulated with a skin-soothing herb complex, moisturizing calendula extract, and hyaluronic acid.

Body Lotion Is Your Best Friend
With less humidity in the air, your skin may start to feel dry and itchy. Avoid any discomfort by moisturizing your skin from head to toe before stepping out. We recommend trying the Moisture Therapy Bonus-Size Daily Skin Defense Body Lotion. Infused with vitamins A, C, E, and B5, this lightweight, non-greasy formula delivers 24-hour moisturization.

Don't Forget the SPF
Just because your beach days are over doesn't mean you should skip out on SPF. Sun protection is needed all year round. To simplify things, we recommend trying our best-selling Anew Ultimate Multi-Performance Day Cream SPF 25: an anti-aging moisturizer and SPF all in one!

Keep Lip Balm Handy
Don't wait until winter to show your lips some TLC. Reapply a moisturizing lip balm a few times daily to keep your lips soft and smooth. Try the Isa Knox LXNEW Ultimate Rejuvenating Tinted Lip Balm for long-lasting hydrating and a hint of color.

SKINCARE: HOW TO TREAT THE 4 TYPES OF WRINKLES

Skincare:  How to treat the 4 types of wrinkles Known by many names crow's feet, laugh lines creases, WRINKLES   Unless you have found a way to cheat father time wrinkles are in your future.  Wrinkles are a defining characteristic of  the natural aging process.  Superdrug surveyed 2000 women.  The beauty retailer found that by age 29 women are worried about aging.  There top concerns are wrinkles and sagging skin. Did you know that not all wrinkles are the same? As a matter of course most believed that there were two types of wrinkles. Dynamic Wrinkles -   Those lines that develop from facial movements, such as smiling. Static Wrinkles - Lines that form due to loss of elasticity and collagen, which causes the skin to eventually sag.   In 2006 researchers at the university hospital of Liege, Belgium published a study in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science. In this study they  identified four different categories of wrinkles. Th

THE # 1 THING TO CONSIDER IN FASHION

Underwear that Fits Correctly ARTICLE: https://www.notdressedaslamb.com/2017/03/the-number-1-trick-that-makes-all-your-clothes-look-good.html There is one very easy trick to making all your clothes look good (even when you’re wearing your own 34-year-old Duran Duran t-shirt – the oldest piece of clothing I own by a very, very long way). That number 1 trick? Get your underwear right. Oh, I can’t tell you how many years I spent wearing the wrong kind of underwear. The wrong size bra, ill-fitting knickers, the wrong  shape  bras… I’ve learnt a new trick just recently – but first, that t-shirt! My original Duran Duran Seven and the Ragged Tiger tour t-shirt is mine –  from 1983 . I cannot tell you how happy I am to be wearing my most treasured t-shirt and oldest item in my wardrobe, an item I thought until recently was most probably lost. I knew I hadn’t deliberately got rid of it, I just knew I’d put it somewhere ‘safe’ (that old chestnut!) and I’d been looking for it for years.

Vitamins Needed for Healthy Skin

Research suggests that some vitamins might play a key role in skin health. In many cases, these vitamins are most effective when a person applies them directly to the skin. Following a healthful, balanced diet that is free of vitamin and nutrient deficiencies may improve skin health by boosting overall health. Vitamin A Many multivitamins contain 100 percent or more of the recommended daily intake of  vitamin A . Other  good sources of vitamin A  include carrots, dark leafy green vegetables,  sweet potatoes , and  eggs . Retinoids, including retinol, tretinoin, isotretinoin, and similar chemicals, are manufactured forms of vitamin A. B-complex vitamins Several  B-complex vitamins  may improve skin health. The water-soluble vitamins are readily available as supplements, including as supplements that include all 12 B-complex vitamins. Research into the role of vitamin B-complex supplements is promising, though inconclusive. A  2018 study  found that vitam
