How to Clean Your Makeup Brushes

 Shirlie's Recommendations

Your foundation and concealer brushes should be cleaned weekly.  The other brushes every two weeks.

Dirty brushes hold oils and bacteria because the bristles are porous.  Your makeup will be difficult to apply and blend and your makeup will be spotty.

Keeping brushes clean will keep your skin clear, allow you to apply makeup smoothly, and extend the life of the brushes.

I recommend using a gentle cleanser, that will dissolve oil, wax, and power.

PRO TIP

YOUR FACIAL CLEANSER OR MILD DISH SOAP ARE GREAT OPTIONS FOR CLEANING YOUR BRUSHES.
